SJE-Rhombus Controls (S.J. Electro Systems, Inc.) was founded on July 2nd, 1975 by Steve Johnston.  It all began with a quest for developing a reliable means of warning homeowners of sewage overflow.  The pioneering efforts of Steve brought forth the first Tank Alert® alarm & Sensor Float® control switch.  Today, nearly 30 years later, SJE-Rhombus Controls has grown into a leading manufacturer of reliable, trouble-free liquid level controls for the water, wastewater & sewage industries.  Our complete product line includes Build-A-Panel control panels, engineered custom control/monitoring systems, Tank Alert® alarm systems, pump switches, control switches & accessories.

Carson Industries LLC was founded in 1969 in La Verne, CA & began supplying plastic grade level splice boxes to the Electric Utility Industry.  The first 17 years were dedicated to the company’s expansion of its grade level enclosures into the Municipal Water, Turf & Irrigation, CATV & Telephone markets.  The company also developed a series of Material Handling Containers sold to the food, industrial & government markets.  In 1985, Carson manufactured a line of equipment pads developed for use in the heating/air conditioning & pool industries.  In 1997, Carson expanded their manufacturing & custom molding efforts with the acquisition of Vision Molded Plastics.  With numerous expansions over the past 30 years, Carson Industries currently serves a global market.

Through growth & development, Carson now has four plastic manufacturing facilities:  the original location in La Verne, CA; Napoleon, OH; Flora, MS; & Roscommon, Ireland.  Carson also has a new polymer concrete operation located in Colton, CA.

Flomatic Corporation located in Glens Falls, upstate New York, is a manufacture of high quality valves primarily for domestic & municipal water & wastewater applications.  Forrest S. White founded the company in 1933 in Hoosick Falls, New York (40 miles north east of Albany) as the White Flomatic Corporation.  At that time, the main products that the company manufactured were bronze check valves, regulators & hot water circulators for industrial & domestic heating.

In addition to manufacturing high quality products according to ISO 9001 international standards & ISO 14001 currently under review, Flomatic is also known for its excellent service & prompt delivery.

Kalas was founded in 1958 in the back room of the Denver Hardware Store.  Paul Witwer, Walter Cubberley & Floyd Witwer decided to carve out a niche in a variety of markets in the wire industry & not attempt to dominate one.  It continues to be a family-owned & operated company with a commitment to the Denver community & Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
